Space for planning of common acitivities
The meetings or multi – stakeholder discussions create space for multi-stakeholder dialogue on CSR, for sharing the information, experience and best practices as well as for evaluation of the project and for planning of common project follow up activities.
One of the most valuable outcomes of the discussions is contribution to the increase of capacity and expertise of the project partners in CSR.
The aim of the meetings is also:
- to create groups of active project partners involved in the project and its multi-stakeholder discussions
- to ensure balanced participation of local / regional SMEs and multinational enterprises, local / regional governments, social partners organizations, universities, civil society organizations, media and other business and professional associations for the further project activities
- to revise and assure clear common understanding on project goals and expected outputs and outcomes with all active project partners.
The topics of multi-stakeholder discussions:
- Convergence and transparency, working on a Code of Practice, monitoring systems of CSR practices in the region
- Fostering responsible entrepreneurship - focusing on enhancing the SMEs capacity to integrate CSR practices, discussing and proposing a tool-kit for SME best practices
- Building capacity of CSR actors: Who are the CSR actors and what roles should they have, practical recommendations for successful partnerships
- Transnational cooperation and coordination in CSR – formation of the Carpathian multi-stakeholder platform
