is a concept that organizations, especially (but not only) corporations, have an obligation to consider the interests of customers, employees, shareholders, communities and ecological considerations in all aspects of their operations. What is the project about?

Project The Way It Works

The mission of the project is to foster change of thinking and contribute to change of acting in the field of CSR, building on existing instruments, as well as, to create a base for learning and promotion of innovation, transparency and convergence of CSR practices and instruments in Carpathian region. We want to create a base for learning and promotion of innovation, transparency and convergence of CSR practices and instruments in the region.

The overall objective is: To enhance CSR activities in Carpathian region by exchanging best practices at the international level and with the involvement of all the relevant stakeholders.

The direct goals of the project are:

  • Raising awareness and improve knowledge about CSR and its impact on society among businesses, governments, education institutions, civil society organizations and other stakeholders in Carpathian region
  • Developing expertise and exchange of information on CSR and its existing instruments and practices
  • Constructing transferable models of CSR practice for new Member States of the European Union
