What to be achieved?

The research goal

The aim of the research is to find out the good practices, instruments and future trends in CSR in Carpathian region.

Objectives:

  • Create the conceptual framework and study instruments for analyzing CSR context and practice in 4 countries included in Carpathian region (Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia)
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative data on CSR practice within the 4 countries included in Carpathian region (Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia)
  • Analyze and interpret data in the four countries with the following outputs: a country report, country case studies, a summary of key findings at the regional level

The research involves the main actors in this field of CSR: local/regional SMEs and multinational enterprises, local/regional governments, social partner organizations, universities, civil society organizations, media and other business and professional associations.

Asociatia pentru Relatii Comunitare (ARC) is the leader in our research, responsible for methodology and also responsible for the research in Romania. It is a key actor in Romanian context to address the need for efficient business community programs. It is recognized as the key organization that has a constant and pioneering activity on CSR field.
